Language and Area Studies Survey

The National Council of Area Studies Associations is conducting a survey. The survey aims to gather data on foreign language and area studies specialists and students in order to assess the state of the field and to inform policies on language and area studies training in the United States. The survey, which takes approximately ten to twenty minutes, asks respondents about their education, career path, work activities, funding history, and ideas about how to improve the education of area studies specialists in the future. Survey results are confidential, and responses will be used only in aggregate form. The survey will close on 1 February.
